Hadith 506

أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: نَحَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ الْبَدَنَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ، وَالْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ. [ ص: 56 ] أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِي مِنَ اخْتِلَافِ الْحَدِيثِ، وَالثَّالِثَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، وَالرَّابِعَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الْأَمَالِي.
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) who states: We performed sacrifice at the place of Hudaybiyyah along with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him); the sacrifice of a camel was done on behalf of seven people, and the sacrifice of a cow was also done on behalf of seven people.
