أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَجْلَانِ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ: أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ مَرْوَانُ وَإِلَى رَجُلٍ قَدْ سَمَّاهُ، فَمَشَى بِنَا حَتَّى أَتَى الْمُصَلَّى فَذَهَبَ لِيَصْعَدَ فَجَبَذْتُهُ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، تُرِكَ الَّذِي تَعْلَمُ، فَقَالَ: أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: فَهَتَفْتُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَقُلْتُ: وَاللَّهِ لَا تَأْتُونَ إِلَّا [ ص: 51 ] شَرًّا مِنْهُ. أَخْرَجَ الْعَشَرَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْعِيدَيْنِ.
It is narrated from Iyad bin Abdullah bin Sa’d bin Abi Sarh ﷺ that Abu Sa’id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Marwan sent a man to me and to another man, whose name he mentioned. Marwan came with us to the Eid ground, and he began to ascend the pulpit, so I pulled him back. He said: O Abu Sa’id! What you know has been abandoned today. Abu Sa’id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said three times in a loud voice, By Allah! You have brought an evil (way) in place of it.”
