Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on this day he was sent down to the earth, on this day his repentance was accepted, on this day he died, and on this day the Hour (Day of Judgment) will occur. Every creature in the universe, except jinn and humans, listens attentively from dawn until sunrise on Friday, awaiting the Hour (to hear the sound of the Trumpet). And in it there is a moment in which, if any Muslim servant asks Allah for something, Allah will surely grant it to him.”
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “It is the last hour of Friday.” Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “How can it be the last hour when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: No Muslim servant encounters it while in prayer, and in the last hour (after Asr) prayer is not performed?” Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: “Did the Prophet (ﷺ) not say that whoever sits in his place waiting for prayer is considered to be in prayer until he finishes the prayer?” He said: “Yes.” So he said: “That is the hour (time).”
