أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الضَّمْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "لَا يَتْرُكُ أَحَدٌ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلَاثًا تَهَاوُنًا بِهَا إِلَّا طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ" . قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: وَفِي بَعْضِ الْحَدِيثِ: "ثَلَاثًا" .
It is narrated from Abu’l-Ja‘d al-Damari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When someone neglects three consecutive Fridays out of laziness, Allah seals his heart.” Imam Shafi‘i (may Allah have mercy on him) said that in some narrations, the Prophet (ﷺ) repeated these words three times.
