It is narrated from Sa’ib bin Yazid (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man asked Abdur Rahman al-Taimi about the prayer of Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), so Abdur Rahman al-Taimi said, "If you wish, I can tell you about the prayer of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him)." He said, "One night, I was in a place when suddenly I got up and a man, who had his head covered, bumped into me. I looked and saw that it was Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). I stood behind him and he prayed, and he would perform prostrations of the Qur'an until I said: 'Fajr is about to break,' and he did not pray anything except one rak'ah of Witr."
