أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: كُلُّ ذَلِكَ قَدْ فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَصَرَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي السَّفَرِ وَأَتَمَّ.
Narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she stated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sometimes shortened the prayer during travel and sometimes performed it in full.
