حَدَّثَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّمِيمِيِّ، عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحَمْنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ: أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي، وَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ. فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُ" . أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأَمَالِي.
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman asked Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): "My garment is long and I walk on dirty places." Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) replied that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The earth that comes after purifies it."
