أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ، وَنُهِيَ أَنْ يَكُفَّ شَعْرَهُ وَثِيَابَهُ.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was commanded to prostrate on seven parts and was forbidden from gathering his hair and clothes (during prostration).
