Hadith 208

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمٌ وَعَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَدَعُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ [الْفَاتِحَةِ: 1] لِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَلِلسُّورَةِ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا.
Nafi' narrates that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would not leave out "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem" along with Surah Al-Fatihah and the following Surah.
