أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "أَعْظَمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ جُرْمًا مَنْ سَأَلَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَعْنِي مُحَرَّمًا فَحُرِّمَ مِنْ أَجْلِ مَسْأَلَتِهِ" .
Aamir bin Sa’d narrated from his father that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, the greatest offender among the Muslims is the one who asked about something that was not forbidden, and because of his question, it was made forbidden.”
