أَخْبَرَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَضَى فِي الْيَهُودِيِّ وَالنَّصْرَانِيِّ أَرْبَعَةَ آلَافٍ، وَفِي الْمَجُوسِيِّ بِثَمَانِ مِائَةٍ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الدِّيَاتِ وَالْقِصَاصِ، وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ السِّيَرِ عَلَى سِيَرِ الْوَاقِدِيِّ وَهُمَا آخِرُ مَا فِيهِ.
It is narrated from Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him), who narrates from Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), that he gave a ruling of four thousand (dirhams) for a Jew and a Christian, and eight hundred (dirhams) for a Magian.
