Hadith 1629

وَبِهِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: دِيَةُ كُلِّ مُعَاهِدٍ فِي عَهْدِهِ أَلْفُ دِينَارٍ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِي مِنَ اخْتِلَافِ الْحَدِيثِ، وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْعَمْدِ، وَإِلَى آخِرِ السَّادِسِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الدِّيَاتِ وَالْقِصَاصِ.
It is narrated from Saeed bin Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: "The blood money of every Mu'ahid during their covenant was one thousand dinars."
