Hadith 1593

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when his runaway slave committed theft, Sa'id bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him), the governor of Madinah, refused to cut off his hand. Then Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) ordered his hand to be cut off, and his hand was cut off.
