أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْغُبَيْرَاءِ، فَقَالَ: لَا خَيْرَ فِيهَا، وَنَهَى عَنْهَا. قَالَ مَالِكٌ: قَالَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ هِيَ السُّكُرْكَةُ. أَخْرَجَ السِّتَّةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ وَقَوْلَ الشَّافِعِيِّ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ.
It is narrated from Ata bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about Ghabeera, so he (ﷺ) said: "There is no good in it," and he (ﷺ) forbade it. Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Zaid bin Aslam said, "Ghabeera is a drink made from barley."
