أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ إِيجَابِ الْجُمُعَةِ.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the prayer has caught the prayer."
