Hadith 1425

أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، أَظُنُّهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَبِيعُ التَّمْرَ مِنْ غُلَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ، وَكَانَ لَا يَرَى بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ غُلَامِهِ رِبًا. أَخْرَجَ الْعَشَرَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْبُيُوعِ.
It is narrated from Abu Ma'bad that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to buy dates from his slave before they were eaten, and he did not consider it usury between himself and his slave.
