Hadith 1417

أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا، نَهَى الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling fruits before they ripen. He (peace be upon him) forbade both the seller and the buyer.
