Hadith 1392

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ. وَقَالَ: "حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ خَازِنِي" ، قَالَ: فَحَفِظْتُ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِ.
From another chain, it is narrated from Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ) similar to the hadith with Malik’s chain, and he said: “Until my treasurer comes.” Imam Shafi’i (may Allah have mercy on him) said, I remembered it without any doubt.
