Hadith 1313

أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي امْرَأَةِ الْمَفْقُودِ: إِنَّهَا لَا تَتَزَوَّجُ.
It is narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said regarding a woman whose husband is missing: "She will not marry (someone else)."
