أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جُمْهَانَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةِ: أَنَّهَا اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، ثُمَّ أَتَيَا عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: هِيَ تَطْلِيقَةٌ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ سَمَّيْتَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ مَا سَمَّيْتَ. أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ أَحْكَامِ الْقُرْآنِ.
It is narrated from Umm Bakrah Al-Aslamiyyah that she took khul‘ from her husband Abdullah bin Asid, then both of them brought this matter to ‘Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: "If you have mentioned something else, then it is what has been mentioned; if not, then it is a divorce."
