أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَوْقَفَ الْمُولِيَ.
Amr bin Salamah narrated that I was present with Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and he made the one who had taken an oath of abstinence stand (for a decision), so that he would either divorce (his wife) or take her back.
