Hadith 1205

أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: [ ص: 78 ] أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي وَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا أَسْوَدَ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ" ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: "مَا أَلْوَانُهَا" ؟ قَالَ: حُمْرٌ. قَالَ: "هَلْ فِيهَا مِنْ أَوْرَقَ" ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ فِيهَا لَوُرْقًا. قَالَ: "فَأَنَّى أَتَاهَا ذَلِكَ" ؟ قَالَ: لَعَلَّهُ نَزَعَهُ عِرْقٌ، فَقَالَ: النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "وَهَذَا لَعَلَّهُ نَزَعَهُ عِرْقٌ" .
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the tribe of Banu Fazara came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "My wife has given birth to a dark-skinned child." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Do you have any camels?" He said, "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "What are their colors?" He said, "They are red." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are there any among them that are dusky white?" He said, "Yes, there are some that are dusky white." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Where did they come from?" He said, "Perhaps some lineage has brought it out." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Perhaps this (child) has also been brought out by some lineage."
