أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَمَرَ نُعَيْمًا أَنْ يُؤَامِرَ أُمَّ ابْنَتِهِ فِيهَا.
It is narrated from Ibn Jurayj that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Na'im to consult the girl's mother in the case of her daughter's marriage.
