أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ أَحْكَامِ الْقُرْآنِ، وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ عِشْرَةِ النِّسَاءِ.
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When two guardians arrange a marriage, the marriage of the first is valid."
