أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: كَمْ كَانَ صَدَاقُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ صَدَاقُهُ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشٌّ. قَالَتْ: أَتَدْرِي مَا النَّشُّ؟ قُلْتُ: لَا. قَالَتْ: نِصْفُ أُوقِيَّةٍ. أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ الصَّدَاقِ وَالْإِيلَاءِ وَهُوَ آخِرُ حَدِيثٍ فِيهِ.
It is narrated from Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "What was the dowry of the Prophet ﷺ (that he gave to his wives)?" She replied: "The dowry of the Prophet ﷺ for his wives was twelve uqiyah and one nash." Then she said: "Do you know how much a nash is?" I said: "No," so she said: "Half an uqiyah."
