أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي؟" فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِثَمَانِ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ، وَأَعْطَاهُ الثَّمَنَ.
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar that a man, after his death, instructed for the emancipation of his slave, while he had no other wealth besides him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Who will buy him from me?" Na’eem bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) bought him for eight hundred dirhams and paid its price.
