Hadith 1069

أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ حُجْرٍ الْمَدَرِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "الْعُمْرَى لِلْوَارِثِ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، وَالْخَامِسَ وَالسَّادِسَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الصَّيْدِ وَالذَّبَائِحِ.
It is narrated from Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is given something as 'Umra, it is for him."
