Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much."

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you knew what I know, you would weep more and laugh less."

Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you knew what I know, you would weep more and laugh less. And each of you would perform such a long prostration that his back would break, and would cry out so much that his voice would fade away. Weep, and if you cannot weep, then assume the appearance of one who is weeping."
