Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah intends good for a servant, He makes him honey." The Companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by making him honey?" He replied: "He guides him to a righteous deed, then seizes his soul while he is upon it."

Sayyiduna Abu Anbasah Khawlani رضي الله عنه narrates from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that he صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Indeed, when Allah intends good for a servant, He makes him honey." The companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by making him honey? He replied: "He opens for him the door of righteous deeds. Then He seizes his soul while he is upon that (righteous deed)."

Sayyiduna Amr bin Humaq (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah intends good for a servant, He employs him." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! How does He employ him? He said: "He guides him to a righteous deed before his death."
