Hadith 1375
1375 - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْأَنْبَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، ثنا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَثَلُ الْمَرْأَةِ كَالضِّلَعِ، إِنْ أَرَدْتَ أَنَّ تُقِيمَهُ كَسَرْتَهُ، وَإِنِ اسْتَمْتَعْتَ اسْتَمْتَعْتَ بِهِ وَفِيهِ أَوَدٌ»
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The example of a woman is like a crooked rib; if you try to straighten it, you will break it, and if you benefit from her, then benefit from her while she is in this crooked state."
Hadith 1376
1376 - وأنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، نا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، نا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمَرْأَةُ كَالضِّلَعِ إِنْ تُقِمْهُ تَكْسِرْهُ، وَإِنْ تَسْتَمْتِعْ بِهِ تَسْتَمْتِعْ بِهِ وَفِيهِ عِوَجٌ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "A woman is like a crooked rib; if you try to straighten her, you will break her, and if you benefit from her, you will benefit from her while she is crooked."
