Hadith 1366
1366 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْبَزَّازُ، أبنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مِنْجَابٌ، ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى بَعْضُهُ تَدَاعَى سَائِرُهُ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى»
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The example of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is like that of a body; when any part of it is afflicted, the whole body remains awake and suffers from fever.”
Hadith 1367
1367 - أنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأُدْفُوِيُّ، أنا أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ إِجَازَةً، نا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الطَّبَرِيُّ، نا ابْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، وَأَبُو وَكِيعٍ، قَالَا: نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ كَالْجَسَدِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ شَيْئًا تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى»
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion, the example of the believers is like that of a single body; when any part of it suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.”
Hadith 1368
1368 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، نا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا مِثْلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي تَوَاصُلِهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَالَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا وَجِعَ بَعْضُهُمْ وَجِعَ كُلُّهُ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely, in maintaining mutual relations, showing mercy and kindness among themselves, and in that which Allah has ordained between them, the example of the Muslims is like that of a body; when any part of it is afflicted with pain, the whole body becomes restless and suffers from sleeplessness and fever."
