أَسْرَعُ الدُّعَاءِ إِجَابَةً دَعْوَةُ غَائِبٍ لِغَائِبٍ
The quickest prayer to be answered is the supplication of an absent person for another absent person
Hadith 1328
1328 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَيْسَرَانِيُّ، ثنا الْخَرَائِطِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَسْرَعُ الدُّعَاءِ إِجَابَةً دَعْوَةُ غَائِبٍ لِغَائِبٍ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The supplication that is accepted the quickest is the supplication of an absent person for another absent person."
Hadith 1329
1329 - أنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأُدْفُوِيُّ، نا أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ إِجَازَةً، نا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الطَّبَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، نا فُرَاتُ بْنُ تَمَامٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَسْرَعُ الدُّعَاءِ إِجَابَةً دَعْوَةُ غَائِبٍ لِغَائِبٍ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The prayer that is accepted the quickest is the prayer of an absent person for another absent person."
Hadith 1330
1330 - أنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّوَّافُ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَيَّاشُ، نا إِسْحَاقُ، هُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يُونُسَ، نا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، نا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنِ الْإِفْرِيقِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ أَسْرَعَ الدُّعَاءِ إِجَابَةً دَعْوَةُ غَائِبٍ لِغَائِبٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer that is accepted the quickest is the prayer of an absent person for another absent person."
