Hadith 1311
1311 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ عَفَّانَ، يَعْنِي الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نِعْمَ الْهَدِيَّةُ الْكَلِمَةُ مِنْ كَلَامِ الْحِكْمَةِ يَسْمَعُهَا الرَّجُلُ الْمُؤْمِنُ فَيَلْتَوِي عَلَيْهَا حَتَّى يُؤَدِّيَهَا لِأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ»
Zaid bin Aslam narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that: "How excellent a gift it is to say a word from among the words of wisdom, which a Muslim hears, then adopts it, and (considering it a trust) conveys it to his Muslim brother."
