إِنَّ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَدْنَاهُمْ مِنْهُ مَجْلِسًا إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ
The most beloved people to Allah on the Day of Resurrection and the closest to Him are a just leader
Hadith 1305
1305 - أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَبْهَرِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ الْأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أبنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَدْنَاهُمْ مِنْهُ مَجْلِسًا إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ»
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, the most beloved of people to Allah and the closest to Him in assembly will be the just ruler."
