Hadith 1299
1299 - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْمَيْمُونِ النَّصِيبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُظَفَّرِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رُمَيْسٍ الْقَصْرِيُّ، مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ نُوحٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ فَرُّوخَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمْحًا بَائِعًا وَمُشْتَرِيًا، وَقَاضِيًا وَمُقْتَضِيًا»
Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty loves the servant who adopts gentleness when buying, selling, paying, and demanding."
Hadith 1300
1300 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، نا ابْنُ شَهْرَيَارَ، وَابْنُ رِيذَةَ، قَالَا: نا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، نا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، أنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمْحًا قَاضِيًا وَسَمْحًا مُقْتَضِيًا» ، قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ: لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ إِلَّا أَبُو غَسَّانَ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “May Allah have mercy on the servant who adopts gentleness when giving and also maintains gentleness when demanding.” Tabarani said: No one has narrated this from Muhammad bin Munkadir except Abu Ghassan.
