1282 - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ شَاهِينَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْبَاغِنْدِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْجَرْجَرَائِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ الْكَاشِحِ»
Sayyida Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best charity is that which is given to a relative who harbors enmity and hatred."
