Hadith 1250
1250 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ، أبنا ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ عَمْرِو بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «خَيْرُ الْمَالِ سِكَّةٌ مَأْبُورَةٌ وَفَرَسٌ مَأْمُورَةٌ»
Suwaid bin Hubairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best wealth is a path lined with fruitful date palms or a mare that bears many offspring."
Hadith 1251
1251 - أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدٌ، هُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، نا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عِيسَى أَبُو نَعَامَةَ الْعَدَوِيُّ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ نَذِيرٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ مَالِ الْمَرْءِ كُلُّ مُهْرَةٍ مَأْمُورَةٍ أَوْ سِكَّةٍ مَأْبُورَةٍ» ، هَكَذَا فِي مُعْجَمِ ابْنِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ نَذِيرٍ وَكَذَلِكَ يَرْوِيهِ أَصْحَابُ الْحَدِيثِ، وَفِي غَرِيبِ الْحَدِيثِ لِأَبِي عُبَيْدٍ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ وَسُوَيْدِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ، ذَكَرَهُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ فِي مُسْنَدِ الصَّحَابَةِ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ، لَهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ
Suwaid bin Hubairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best wealth of a person is a she-goat that bears many offspring or a path lined with fruitful date-palms." In Mu'jam Ibn al-A'rabi, it is narrated in the same way from Muslim bin Nadhir, and the scholars of hadith have also narrated it similarly. However, in Abu Ubaid's "Gharib al-Hadith," it is from Muslim bin Badeel. And Abu Muhammad has mentioned Suwaid bin Hubairah in «مسند الصحابة من الصحابة» (in it) with this very hadith.
