Hadith 1235
1235 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، ثنا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْحُبُلِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ الْأَصْحَابِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرُهُمْ لِصَاحِبِهِ، وَخَيْرُ الْجِيرَانِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى خَيْرُهُمْ لِجَارِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best companion in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his companion, and the best neighbor in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his neighbor."
