Hadith 1224
1224 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُهَنْدِسِ الذَّارِعُ، ثنا أَبُو بِشْرٍ الدُّولَابِيُّ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِمِحْجَنٍ الدِّيلِيِّ: أَلَا تُصَلِّي كَمَا يُصَلِّي سُكْبَةُ؟ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «خَيْرُ دِينِكُمْ أَيْسَرُهُ»
Abdullah bin Shaqiq reports that it was said to Sayyiduna Mihjan Deeli (may Allah be pleased with him): Why do you not pray as much as so-and-so prays? He replied: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best part of your religion is that which is easiest."
Hadith 1225
1225 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنا ابْنُ شَهْرَيَارَ، وَابْنُ رِيذَةَ، قَالَ: أنا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الزُّهْرِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، نا سَلَّامُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ دِينِكُمْ أَيْسَرُهُ» قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ: لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ إِلَّا سَلَّامٌ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of your religion is that which is the easiest." Al-Tabarani said: Only Salam narrated it from Qatadah, and Isma'il ibn Yazid is unique in narrating it.
