Hadith 1193
1193 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أبنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْوَشَّاءُ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ زُغْبَةُ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever does not recite the Qur'an with a pleasant voice is not from among us."
Hadith 1195
1195 - أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ السُّكَّرِيُّ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِهِمَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، نا وَكِيعٌ. وَرَوَاهُ حُسَامُ بْنُ الْمِصَكِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ. قَالَ حُسَامٌ: لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا، يَذْكُرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
Abdullah bin Naheek says that I heard Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate the hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this manner.
Hadith 1196
1196 - وأنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، أنا ابْنُ جَامِعٍ، نا عَلِيٌّ، نا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ، نا شَبَابَةُ، عَنْ حُسَامِ بْنِ مِصَكٍّ، سَمِعَهُ اللَّيْثُ، بِالْعِرَاقِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَوْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ» قَالَ: وَأَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ، نَا شَبَابَةُ وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، وَحَدَّثَ بِهِ اللَّيْثُ بِمِصْرَ خِلَافَ مَا حَدَّثَ بِهِ فِي الْعِرَاقِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not recite the Qur'an with a pleasant voice is not from among us."

Hadith 1197
1197 - أَنَاهُ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ»
It is narrated from Saeed bin Abi Saeed that indeed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever does not recite the Qur'an with a pleasant voice is not from among us."

1198 - أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، أنا ابْنُ جَامِعٍ، نا عَلِيٌّ، نا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ، قَالَ: جِئْتُ إِلَى سَعْدٍ فَقَالَ: مَنْ أَنْتَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي؟ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: مَرْحَبًا، تُجَّارٌ كَسَبَةٌ، كَيْفَ قِرَاءَتُكَ الْقُرْآنَ؟ قُلْتُ: حَسَنَةٌ، قَالَ: فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اقْرَؤُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَابْكُوا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَبْكُوا فَتَبَاكَوْا، وَغَنُّوا بِالْقُرْآنِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُغَنِّ أَوْ يَتَغَنَّ بِهِ»
Abdullah bin Sa’ib bin Nahik says that I went to Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: Nephew! Who are you? When I told him, he said: Welcome, you are a trader who earns a living. How do you recite the Qur’an? I said: I recite well. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Recite the Qur’an and weep; if you cannot weep, then assume the appearance of one who is weeping, and recite the Qur’an with a pleasant voice, for whoever does not recite the Qur’an with a pleasant voice or does not try to recite it with a pleasant voice is not one of us.”
Hadith 1199
1199 - وأنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ، نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ سَجَّادَةٌ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، نا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Whoever does not recite the Qur'an with a pleasant voice is not from among us."
Hadith 1200
1200 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، نا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ مَسْرُورٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، نا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، نا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: "Whoever does not recite the Qur'an with a pleasant voice is not one of us."
