Hadiths 1001 to 1200
«لَيْسَ كَبِيرَةٌ بِكَبِيرَةٍ مَعَ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ، وَلَا صَغِيرَةٌ بِصَغِيرَةٍ مَعَ الْإِصْرَارِ»
No major sin remains major with seeking forgiveness, and no minor sin remains minor with persistence
Hadith 1190
1190 - مِنْ حَدِيثِ شَيْخِنَا أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الْوَاسِطِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حَفْصٍ، عُمَرَ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ شَاهِينُ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ طَاهِرٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ زَاهِرٍ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنُ شَقِيقٍ، نا بِشْرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَذَكَرَهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said... and he narrated this hadith: "No major sin remains with seeking forgiveness, and no minor sin remains minor with persistence."
