«إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ نِسَاءِ أُمَّتِي بَرَكَةً أَصْبَحُهُنَّ وَجْهًا وَأَقَلُّهُنَّ مَهْرًا»
The most blessed women of my nation are those with the fairest faces and the least dowries
Hadith 1146
1146 - أنا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ بُنْدَارٍ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ، نا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَذَكَرَهُ
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said... "Indeed, the most blessed among the women of my Ummah is she whose face is pleasant and whose dowry is small."
