إِنَّ مِنْ قَلْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ بِكُلِّ وَادٍ شُعْبَةً
From the heart of the son of Adam, there is a branch in every valley
Hadith 1145
1145 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أبنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، أبنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أبنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ قَلْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ بِكُلِّ وَادٍ شُعْبَةً، فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ قَلْبُهُ الشِّعَبَ كُلَّهَا لَمْ يُبَالِ اللَّهُ فِي أَيِّ وَادٍ أَهْلَكَهُ»
It is narrated from Ali bin Rabah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, in every valley of the heart of the son of Adam there is a branch. So whoever's heart inclines towards every valley, Allah does not care in which valley He destroys him."
