Hadith 1103
1103 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ نَظِيفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أبنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّافِقِيُّ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَسَبْعِينَ وَمِئَتَيْنِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ بِقَبْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah will not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He will take away knowledge by taking away the scholars (from the world)."
Hadith 1104
1104 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّمْسَارُ بِدِمَشْقَ، أبنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَذَكَرَهُ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ الْعِبَادِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said . . . . . . and he narrated this hadith and in it he said: "Indeed, Allah will not take away knowledge by snatching it from His servants."
Hadith 1105
1105 - أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ فِرَاسٍ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَكِّيُّ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، نا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ
This hadith is also narrated from Hisham through another chain with his chain in the same manner.
Hadith 1106
1106 - وَأَنَاهُ ابْنُ فِرَاسٍ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، نا عَارِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ
This hadith is also narrated from Hisham through another chain with his chain in the same manner.
Hadith 1107
1107 - أنا صَالِحُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ رِشْدِينَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الدَّارِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْإِمَامِ، نا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعُلَمَاءَ بِعِلْمِهِمْ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يَبْقَ عَالِمٌ اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُؤَسَاءَ جُهَّالًا، فَسُئِلُوا، فَأَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ، فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah will not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He will take away knowledge by taking away the scholars (from the world). Then, when no scholar remains, people will take the ignorant as leaders; they will be asked and will give verdicts without knowledge. Thus, they will go astray themselves and will lead others astray as well."
