Hadith 1096
1096 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، أبنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ»
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin ‘Amr bin Muqarrin (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, Allah will support this religion even through a wicked person.”
Hadith 1097
1097 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّمْسَارُ بِدِمَشْقَ، ثنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ح قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أبنا مَعْمَرُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: شَهِدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ، وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ: «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ , وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that we participated in the Battle of Khaybar along with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he mentioned this hadith at length, and at the end of it were these words: "Only a Muslim person will enter Paradise, and indeed Allah will support this religion even through a wicked person."
