Hadith 1067
1067 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ السِّمْسَارِ بِدِمَشْقَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي دُجَانَةَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَوْرَانِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ، وَيُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرَى نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ، وَيُبْغِضُ الْبُؤْسَ وَالتَّبَاؤُسَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty, and He also loves to see the effect of His blessing upon His servant, and He dislikes affliction and showing poverty.”
Hadith 1068
1068 - وَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُظَفَّرٍ الْأَدِيبُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ، عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ قُدَيْدٍ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ» وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَثْنًى، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمَّادٍ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ مَثْنًى: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ، عَنْ فُضَيْلٍ الْفُقَمِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَذَكَرَهُ مُخْتَصَرًا
Ubaidullah bin Saeed bin Katheer bin Afeer reports that his father Saeed narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty." Muslim has also narrated it with his chain from our master Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he has narrated it in a brief form.
