Hadiths 1001 to 1200
إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلَاءَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection

Hadith 1060
1060 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، وَأَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، مُنِيرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْخَلَّالُ قَالَا: ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بُهْزَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلَاءَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, whoever drags his garment out of arrogance, then on the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will not even look at him." And in the narration of Abu Muhammad from Abdullah bin Dinar, (instead of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him) it is Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
Hadith 1061
1061 - وأنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التُّجِيبِيُّ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، نا سُلَيْمَانُ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» مُخْتَصَرٌ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, whoever drags his garment out of arrogance, Allah Almighty will not even look at him on the Day of Resurrection." This hadith is concise.
Hadith 1062
1062 - وأنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، أنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُطَرِّزُ، نا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدٌ، هُوَ ابْنُ رُمْحٍ، أنا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, whoever drags his garment out of arrogance, Allah will not even look at him on the Day of Resurrection."
