Hadith 1033
1033 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْفَتْحِ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ الزَّاهِدُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ، ثنا وَثِيمَةُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنِ ابْنِ سَمْعَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَعْدِنًا، وَمَعْدِنُ التَّقْوَى قُلُوبُ الْعَارِفِينَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), who narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, everything has a mine, and the mine of piety is the hearts of the people of gnosis."
Hadith 1034
1034 - وأنا ذُو النُّونِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْهَرَوِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ، نا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الشَّامِيُّ، نا أَنَسُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، نا مُنَبِّهُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَعْدِنًا، وَمَعْدِنُ التَّقْوَى قُلُوبُ الْعَارِفِينَ»
Salim bin Abdullah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him) who said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, everything has a mine, and the mine of piety is the hearts of the people of gnosis."
