إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ مَا أَكَلَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ
The best thing a man eats is from his own earnings
Hadith 1012
1012 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمُعَدِّلُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ مَا أَكَلَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ، وَإِنَّ وَلَدَهُ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ»
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "Indeed, the best thing a person eats is that which is from his own earnings, and his children are also from his own earnings."
Hadith 1013
1013 - وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، نا ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ
This hadith is also narrated through another chain from Ali bin Abdul Aziz with his chain in the same manner.
