Hadiths 1001 to 1200
إِنَّ مِنْ عَبَّادِ اللَّهِ مَنْ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ
Among Allah's servants are those who, if they swear by Allah, He fulfills it
Hadith 1002
1002 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ فِرَاسٍ، بِمَكَّةَ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِبُكَيْرٍ الْحَدَّادِ، ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَجِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ عَبَّادِ اللَّهِ مَنْ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ»
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, there are some servants of Allah such that if they swear an oath by Allah (that Allah will do something), Allah certainly fulfills their oath."
Hadith 1003
1003 - وأنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ السِّمْسَارِ، نا أَبُو زَيْدٍ، نا الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، أنا الْبُخَارِيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، نا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said . . . . . . and he narrated a hadith similar to this.
Hadith 1004
1004 - وأنا صِلَةُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، نا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَجِّيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، نا حُمَيْدٌ، نا أَنَسٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
